Hi everyone! First off, I’d like to apologise for not posting in ages, school is back on and has been so crazy from the get-go!
I have a few things planned for TFJ and will announce it all with time, but for now, here is a quick get the look post from a recent outfit that I absolutely loved (and didn’t even care if I became an outfit repeater!)
Over the school break, a couple of friends and I ventured into the city to shoot photos for a media folio, and to eat an awesome lunch at TGIF Melbourne Central. While we were there, the opportunity to shoot at the State Library came up, so we walked across and got some shots!
Here are a few which show the outfit, and you can get the look below!
My boots, however, are cut-out boots, and are from Lipstik Shoes, and the watch, ring, necklace and earrings in the edit above are some accessories that I absolutely would have loved to team with this outfit. Instead, I am wearing a black and gold spiked necklace from Colette by Colette Hayman, and an Ingersoll Disney watch.
Photography thanks to Sarah C!
One recurring trend I am seeing emerge from almost all designers in almost every fashion week show is the use of sheer materials in their clothing. Sheer tops to Sheer hemmed skirts to the little finishing touches with sheer material will see you on trend with the minimalistic, stylish and practical sheer look. (as photographed above)
Stay on the fashion ball and get your hands on sheer clothing…
it will be Sheer-Luck if you already have some!
This is one of my favourite sheer looks from the PPQ, Jasper Conran and Preen Spring 2014 shows in London Fashion Week
